A humanitarian multicultural forum "Rising from the Ashes" was held on the island of San Clemente in Venice, Italy with the participation of UNESCO and the International Union of Architects.
Along with world-famous personalities, Azerbaijani architects, artists, painters and students took part in the international forum organized by Vasconi Architectes within the framework of the 17th Venice Architecture Biennale, organized by Thomas Shinko.The main purpose of the event was to reconstruct the city of Beirut, as well as to find solutions to the city's master plan. Experienced international trainers also spoke at the forum on various topics.
Altay Cengizer, President of the UNESCO General Conference, said that UNESCO Director-General Odre Azule supported the forum. Renowned architect Renzo Piano, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Hedva Sir, UNESCO Representative in Venice Ana Louise Thompson-Flores, President of the Lebanese Federation of Engineers and Architects Jad Tabet, President of ALBA University Andre Behazi, Director General of International Security, Energy and Environment Adviser Charles Sills and other dignitaries attended.
The forum also heard speeches by professional trainers on various topical issues. The report of Mohamed El Sahili, Chairman of the Board of the African Health Federation, who attended the conference with the support of the Millionaire Concept Network, was heard.
The event was attended by Gulmira Rzayeva, Director of Eurasia Analytics, Cohen Vanmexelen, an artist with 20 years of experience in science, society and art, Nadia Taiga, CEO of SnarkArt and others. Krista Kim, a well-known NFT artist at the forum, presented to UNESCO a revolutionary idea in the field of art, architecture and society for the reconstruction of cities, emphasizing the important role of organizations, institutions and creative people in this work. Famous Lebanese artist Rudy Rahme performed live at the gala night. Turkish artist Özge Günaydın created the symbol "Get up from the ashes". The most important moment of the gala night was the performance of the Azerbaijani folk song "Yellow Bride" by the famous Azerbaijani jazz singer Etibar Asadli.
The organizer of the event, Vice President of Vasconi Architectes by Thomas Schinko Ayten Mirzayeva, said the forum will be held in Azerbaijan in the future with the participation of the Center for Intercultural Dialogue for the Reconstruction of Ganja and Karabakh.
